Meditation challenge with me

I was introduced to Deepak Chopra by a dear friend of mine. They gifted me with one of his books and since then I have added two more to my collection. He’s prophetic. Oprah and himself are the masterminds behind this meditation challenge. I joined, and I wanted to extend the invitation to anyone else that may be interested. Hidden Gems

I’ve never had the pleasure to meet such beautiful souls. These four right here….As genuine as it gets. I have learned, grown, admired, and aspired because of them. They hold a dear place in my heart. The interpersonal interactions we experience in our lives are not by coincidence. Change the channel. Look for the hidden lessons-read the context clues. Life is too short for empty exchanges.

Rooftops

Life is constantly blessing us with gifts. We just have to be aware enough to recognize them. This week I was given a gem. This year I’ve made an active effort to volunteer on a consistent basis. I have had the opportunity and pleasure to meet life changing people, an outlet to touch lives, and made memories that I will forever be grateful for. This week aside from giving out lunches as usual, we also gave out blankets. It really felt great to be able to have the opportunity to give the gift of warmth. Aside from that, some of us were able to go on the rooftop and see the shelter’s garden. Continue reading “Rooftops”
