It was a light group this week but we got it done! Just trying to be apart of the big picture.

I ran with a group of inspiring individuals today. Everyone’s energy was so positive and motivating that it was contagious. Kind of felt like I was going to die a few times along the way, but I finished and felt amazing afterwards. Great experience.



Ooooooh, the struggle. But I guess that’s why we must remember that one word we secretly despise-Moderation. What’s life without a little indulgence here and there, though? Stay balanced my friends.
Just trying to be apart of the bigger picture.



Growth, for me is a necessity. I would say it’s everything I strive for. Everyday is a chance to learn more and more about yourself. What are you passionate about? What do you enjoy doing? What is so intriguing to me about this subject is that even though some things will stay consistent through out your life, there are aspects that are forever changing. The person you were last year, last month, and even yesterday aren’t the same people. Enjoy the ride. Pay attention. And most importantly… Embrace the change.

Leg day is my favorite day!! Here I am performing one of my favorite exercises. This is a variation of the dead lift. Great for your hamstrings, glutes, lower back, and even core. Decided to share this because I am kind of obsessed with glute exercises and I’ve found this one to be very effective, easy, and easily manipulated in majority gym settings. In this video I am using a 45lb bar with a 25lb weight on each side equalling out to 95lbs. I did 3 sets of 12. Try incorporating this into your work out routine at a comfortable yet challenging weight and see what you think!
Started my day off volunteering at the local homeless shelter. We passed out over 300 lunches! There is little that can compare to the feeling of helping someone and seeing their smile because of it. To say the least, I enjoyed myself and I plan to make this a habit. There was a big group of volunteers and the execution was effortlessly organized so it took less than an hour. Not even 10% of the day. Time well spent for sure.
