Teamed up with Fitspot & Muscle Milk for an opportunity to lead a bootcamp for this amazing company called Mail Chimp. I use them for my email blasts to clients, and was ecstatic to be able to work with them. They were a great group of down to Earth individuals, and it was a complete pleasure. We thoroughly had a good time, and I was able to provide them with a fun, yet challenging experience. It really put things into perspective for me because although they’re not a fortune 500 company, they’re decently reputable and respected. It’s definitely a personal accomplishment within itself.
It’s always the little things that add up to the big picture. Not only am I able to add this experience onto my resume and client list, but I am also able to look back and see the progress I’ve been able to make as a trainer and entrepreneur. I started out training my friends for free, volunteered months at a performance camp as an intern, built clientele from majority word of mouth, put in the legwork to forge relationships and build a network within the industry to now hosting sponsored corporate bootcamps. This is just a mere check off an extremely long list of what all I want to put under my belt career wise. Sometimes I get frustrated because I am nowhere near where I would like to be, that I don’t even take the time to enjoy and bask in the present moment. It takes a lot of work, dedication, perseverance, and sacrifice to be able to go into work for yourself. You don’t really have the luxury of relying on anyone else to do the dirty work-or any work for that matter. I am honestly just thankful to be able to build upon my passion, and share it with those whom I am able to reach. There are many accomplishments to be made, but till then, I am practicing gratitude…and hard work of course.
